KENT COUNTY REPRESENTATIVE
CHAVON DOTTIN is the Director of Field Instruction for Delaware State University’s Department of Social Work. Prior to joining DSU, she has worked in the hospital, school, prison, group home and private practice setting as a social worker. She is a graduate of Delaware State University in 2002 with a BSW in Social Work, from Delaware State University in 2004 with a MSW in Social Work, and from Wilmington University with a MEd with a Masters in Education. She is currently working on her Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership.
Ms. Dottin serves on the advisory board for the Stevenson House, the Kent County Interagency Council, the Kent County Interagency Council for Delaware, and has served on the Dover Behavioral Health Advisory Board. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. which is an organization based on community service and is also a member of the NASW and has been since 1999 and continues to provide services to the community.
