PAST- PRESIDENT

Debra O'NealDEBRA O'NEAL has served in a variety of capacities within NASW. She served as DE Chapter President (1994-96 and 2009-2011), Council of Chapter Presidents (1994-96), Delegate Assembly Easter Coalition Co-Chair (1996, 2008 and 2011), Alternate Delegate (2005), past Co-Chair of the Black Caucus, and served on the NASW National Council on Women's Issues.

Ms. O'Neal is currently the Training/Education Administrator II for the State of Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth & their Families and has previously held the following positions within the Department: Case Manager/Probation Office, Case Monitor, Regional Manager for New Castle County North. Ms. O'Neal has prior experience as a mental health worker within the DE Department of Correction and previously provided case management and program management with developmental disabilities populations in Delaware and NJ.

Ms. O'Neal received her MSSW from Columbia University School of Social Work and her BSW and Certificate in Criminology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
