NEW CASTLE REPRESENTATIVE
KATE STINER is a full-time social worker for Delaware Hospice, Inc. Prior to her current position, Kate worked for the State of Delaware as a treatment services coordinator (Division of Prevention & Behavioral Health Services) and a child abuse and neglect case manager (Division of Family Services). Kate graduated from the University of Delaware in 2004 (BA, Sociology & Criminal Justice) and Delaware State University in 2010 (MSW).
During the 2009-2010 school year, Kate was President of the MSW Student Council, MSW-DSU Graduate Student Association Liaison, and E-Newsletter Coordinator. Upon graduation, Kate was awarded the Dean’s Award of Excellence for leadership. Kate is a Gold Award recipient and a lifetime member of Girl Scouts. She currently resides in Newark.
